【摘要】:Thisguidecoversageneralmethodologytodevelopandassessthelinearrelationshipbetweenresultsproducedbyatotalanalyzersystemversustheresultsproducedbythecorrespondingprimarytestmethod(PTM)thattheanalyzersystemisintendedtoemulate,usingtheprinciplesandapproachesoutlinedinrelevantASTMstandardpracticesandguides.ThisguidedescribeshowthestatisticalmethodologyofPracticeD6708canbeemployedtoassessagreementbetweenthePTMandanalyzerresults,and,ifnecessary,developlinearcorrelationtofurtherimprovetheagreementoverthecompleteoperatingrangeoftheanalyzer.ForinstanceswherethereisinsufficientvariationinpropertyleveltoapplythePracticeD6708multi-levelmethodology,usersarereferredtoPracticeD3764toperformalevelspecificbiasevaluation.Thecorrelationrelationshipinformationobtainedintheapplicationofthisguideisapplicableonlytothematerialtypeandpropertyrangeofthematerialsrepresentativeofthoseusedtoperformtheassessment.Usersarecautionedagainstextrapolationoftherelationshipbeyondthematerialtypeandpropertyrangebeingstudied.Thisguideappliesiftheprocessstreamanalyzersystemandtheprimarytestmethodarebasedonthesamemeasurementprinciple(s),or,iftheprocessstreamanalyzersystemusesadirectandwell-understoodmeasurementprinciplethatissimilartothemeasurementprincipleoftheprimarytestmethod.Iftheprocessstreamanalyzersystemusesadifferentmeasurementtechnologyfromtheprimarytestmethod,providedthatthecalibrationprotocolforthedirectoutputoftheanalyzerdoesnotrequireuseofthePTM,thispracticealsoapplies.ThisguidedoesnotapplyiftheprocessstreamanalyzersystemutilizesanindirectormathematicallymodeledmeasurementprinciplesuchaschemometricormultivariateanalysistechniqueswhereresultsfromPTMarerequiredforthechemometricormultivariatemodeldevelopment.UsersshouldrefertoPracticesE1655andD6122fordetailedcorrelationandmodelvalidationproceduresforthesetypesofanalyzersystems.Note1Forexample,thisguidewouldapplyforthecomparisonofbenzenemeasurementsfromamid-infraredprocessanalyzersystembasedonTestMethodD6277tothoseobtainedusingPTMTestMethodD3606,agaschromatographybasedtestmethod.Foreachsample,themid-infraredspectrumisconvertedintoasingleanalyzerresultusingmethodology(TestMethodD6277)thatisindependentoftheprimarytestmethod(TestMethodD3606).However,whenthesameanalyzerusesamultivariatemodeltocorrelatethemeasuredmid-infraredspectrumtoTestMethodD3606referencevaluesusingthemethodologyofPracticeE1655,thisguidedoesnotapply.Inthiscase,thedirectoutputoftheanalyzeristhespectrum,andtheconversionofthismultivariateoutputtoananalyzerresultrequireresultsfromtheprimarytestmethod.Thisguideassumesthattheanalyzersamplingsystemisfitforuse,andbothanalyzerandlabsystemsareinstatisticalcontrolduringtheexecutionoftherequiredtasks.Proceduresfortestingforproperfunctionoftheanalyzersamplingsystem,andascertainingwhetherthesystemsareinstatisticalcontrolarebeyondthescopeofthisguide.SoftwareprogramCompTMVersion1.0.21(ADJD6708)performsthenecessarycomputationsrecommendedbythisguide.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
