【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiestestmethodsforpassengercar(asdefinedinISO3833)rear-windowwashingandwipingsystems,whenthesearefitted,excludingconvertiblepassengercarswithrear-windowsmadeofplastic.ThisInternationalStandarddoesnotspecifyreferenceareasorlevelsofperformance,sinceatthetimeitwaspreparedtherewassufficientdataavailable.NOTE—Itmaybepossibletocarryouttestsofasimilarnatureonwindscreenandrear-windowsimultaneously.Thetestmethodsareintendedtoapplytotypesofpower-drivenvehicleswhichdonotdifferfromoneanotherinrespectofthefollowingessentialfeatureswhichaffectwashingandwipingperformance:a)shape,sizeandsurfacecharacteristicsoftherear-window;b)characteristicsofeachsystemdesignatedbythevehiclemanufacturerascontributingtothewashingandwipingoftherear-window.
