【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandarddescribestheapplicationoftheVickersandKnoopmicro-indentationtestsfordeterminingthemicrohardnessofmetallicandotherinorganiccoatings.Thismethodisapplicablewhereindenterforcesgenerallyneedtobebelow10Nsuchasforelectrodepositedcoatings,autocatalyticcoatings,sprayedcoatingsandanodiccoatingsonaluminium.Itisapplicabletomeasurementsnormaltothecoatedsurfaceasdescribedin7.4andtomeasurementsoncross-sectionsasdescribedin7.3.NOTE1AttentionisdrawntoISO4545,ISO6507-1,ISO6507-2andISO6507-3,whichdescribeKnoopandVickershardnesstestingofmetallicmaterials.OtherInternationalStandardsforinstrumentalindentationtesting,theverificationofmicroindentationtestinginstrumentsandfortheverificationofreferenceblockstobeusedwithsuchinstrumentsarecurrentlybeingdeveloped(e.g.ISO14577Parts1to4).NOTE2UsuallyforhardnessmeasurementsofcoatingtestforcesinthemicrohardnessrangeinaccordancewithISO6507-1areused.However,sincethelargestpossibletestforceshouldbeselected,testforcesofthelowforceandhardnessrangesmayalsobeused.

【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethodcoversthemeasurementofthetotalmoistureincoalasitexistsatthesite,atthetime,andundertheconditionsitissampled.Itisapplicabletocoalsasmined,processed,shipped,orusedinnormalcommercialpursuits.Itisnotapplicabletocoal-waterslurries,sludges,orpulverizedproductsunder0.5-mm-diametersievesize.Itisapplicabletocoalsofallrankswithintherecognizedlimitationsimposedbyoxidationanddecompositioncharacteristicsoflowerrankcoals.Becauseofitsempiricalnature,strictadherencetobasicprinciplesandpermissiveproceduresarerequiredforvalidresults(seeAppendixX1).Thiscompletestandardisavailabletoproducers,sellers,andconsumersasatotalmoisturemethodwhenotherproceduresormodificationsarenotmutuallyagreedon.1.2Sincecoalcanvaryfromextremelywet(water-saturated)tocompletelydry,specialemphasismustbeplacedonthesampling,samplepreparation,andthemoisturedeterminationitselftoensuretotalreliabilityofmeasurement.Therefore,thisstandardentailscollectionofthegrosssample,samplepreparation,andthemethodofdetermination.1.3Whileitisrecognizedthatsuchastandardmaybeunwieldyforroutineusageincommercialoperations,itcanprovideacommonbaseforagreementincasesofdisputeorarbitration.Thecompletestandardisreferredtoastherefereemethod.Embodiedinthestandardisthecommercialmethodstartingwiththecrushedanddividedsamplewhenthegrosssampleisnottoowettocrushanddivide.SeeTestMethodsD2961andD3173forothermoisturemethods.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
