【摘要】:1.1ProductdefinitionThisEuropeanStandardcontainstheinitial,startoflifedimensional,optical,mechanicalandenvironmentalperformancerequirementswhichaterminatedandassembled12fibremultimodeMPOconnectorset(plugadapterplug)mustmeetinorderforittobecategorisedasanENstandardproduct.Sincedifferentvariantsarepermitted,productmarkingdetailsaregivenin3.5.1.2IntermateabilityAllproductsconformingtotherequirementsofthisstandardwillintermateandgivethespecifiedlevelofrandomattenuationandrandomreturnlossperformanceprovidedthesamecoresizeisused.Theintentionisthatthiswillbetrueirrespectiveofthemanufacturingsource(s)oftheproduct.1.3OperatingenvironmentThetestsselectedcombinedwiththeseverityanddurationarerepresentativeofabackplane/backpanelindoorapplicationderivedfromcustomerpremiseprotectedenvironmentasdefinedinEN50173seriesandISO/IEC11801andasspecifiedincategoryCperEN61753-1:2007.1.4ReliabilityWhilsttheanticipatedservicelifeexpectancyoftheproductinthisenvironmentis20years,compliancewiththisstandarddoesnotguaranteethereliabilityoftheproduct.Thisshouldbepredictedusingarecognisedreliabilityassessmentprogramme.1.5QualityassuranceCompliancewiththisstandarddoesnotguaranteethemanufacturingconsistencyoftheproduct.Thisshouldbemaintainedusingarecognisedqualityassuranceprogramme.
